L.&J.G. Stickley Original Vintage Oak Bookcase Circa 1906 to 1912

Original L.& J.G. Stickley single door oak bookcase with keyed tenons and original hammered copper handle, signed on the back: "L.& J.G. Stickley, Handcraft", circa 1906-1912. This case has it's original reddish nut-brown finish and is in excellent condition. The earlier bookcases such as this one, before the "work of" period (from around 1912-1918) have the preferred chamfered board back instead of paneled plywood and the dimension of much of the wood, such as the sides and top, is thicker than later examples.
